Granny square part 2
The videos are not helping me which is odd because I crochet a pretty big square before. I do not remember which video it was though. I will keep looking but lets try this www site.

What can you make out of this?
a cute little camera case of course. I need to sit down with some fabric and figure it out. But on its one you can slide your camera in it, and pull the wrist wrap into the bottom of one of the holes. It has lots of padding and keeps your camera safe and secure. You can even wear it on your wrist and have your camera ready when a perfect picture opportunity arrives.

Its complete
working on this pattern
Candy Cane Scarf
Lion Brand® Holiday Homespun®
GAUGE:
12 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
When creating fringe using Homespun, please note that because of the texture of the yarn the fringe will fray when cut. If you prefer a non-frayed look you can knot the ends, knit or crochet a fringe, or use hairspray or fray check.
SCARF Note: Carry unused color along side of work. With A, cast on 21 stitches. Rows 1 and 2: With A, knit. Rows 3 and 4: With B, knit. Rep Rows 1-4 until piece measures about 70 in. (178 cm) from beginning. Bind off.
FINISHING Fringe (make 9 each with A and B) For each Fringe, cast on 12 stitches, then turn and bind off. Cut yarn, leaving a long end. Alternating colors, tie 9 Fringes to each end of Scarf. Weave in ends.

Yarn central
I want to share some of the ways I display my favorite yarns.
One way is in three baskets I got from the dollar store. I put in balls of black, blue and white yarn in there.

The next is some of the projects that you have seen on the blog I have them hung over my work table so I can admire my handy work.

lastly this is my knitting and crochet station. I have all my needles and hooks store here. Plus my library collection on how toos plus patterns. I also have some more of my favorite yarns that are black white and blue stashed here. These have not been whined into balls yet.

While I was writing this I remembered where I had an extra stash of yarn. I am working on this top secret item. I wanted it to be finished for my mums bday party but I had to admit defeat and it will now be a christmas present. Anyway I realized I was out of the color yarns so I made a mad dash for the yarn store. Forgetting about my secret stash. I am going to be major annoyed if there is some balls of that yarn in that secret stash. My other two secret stashes are under my bed. (which I hate to have stuff under my bed but my room is so small and that stinky carlos is in my old room) and I have a large box of it upstairs too.

No pattern for this jean bag
I went to his house and picked up some old pair of jeans. I learned from this project a smaller pair might of been a better option. I used a fat quarter of fabric (sp?) for the lining. My local walmart was getting rid of their fabric department so I got the handle 75% off. I had a fun but fustrating time working on this project. I also broke a needle or two on the machine.
I do not have it for sale. I do not use it cause I have a gazillion bags. If somebody is interested in this particular bag, convo me at the etsy store!
flat front look of the bag

propped up look at the front of the bag with a few favorite magazines in there

first knitted project completed
I dont know about you folks, but I like to knit just to knit. I really dont care much about having a completed project. It took me a while to actually complete something. I found my inspiration on the Carol Duvall show. They had this funky purse that only took one ball of yarn, two hoops for handles and some lining.
I made the flower with scrap yarn, probly the same yarn I used for that pink metalic yarn, with out the metalic. I found a button for the center of the flower.

After some extra practrice and watching knitty gritty I made this purse. Same pattern but with beads

Incredible yarn
I love this yarn it reminds me of ribbon.
Here are two scarfs I made out of and a small purse. There is a scarf that matches the purse but I do not know where Kathryn hid it. Probably in her car. The bottomless pit that it will never be seen again.
Blue Scarf-- wider then the others I love the rich blue.

Black and white scarf Black and white my fav.

The little hand bag... I do not remember the name of the color but I love it! I want to make a wrap out of or the copper yarn. I have tons of that too. A lot of the incredible yarn was sold at the dollar store and every time I saw some I scooped it up. They still sell it at joannes full price. Go figure that one out. This is the one that there is a skinny scarf for but I dont have a picture for it.

love this scarf
The picture shown is when the scarf was a work in progress. It is completed now. It is so incredibly soft. I used two yarns. I think one was a jiffy yarn and one was a metallic fancy yarn.

with the flash on or is it off I do not remember, it represents the colors better I think anyway.

can you see the silver metalic????

Easter Wreath I made my mum
I made this out of a straw wreath, fabric, glue and ornaments.
I cut the fabric with pinking shears (so it wont unwravel as much) and put a dab of tacky craft glue on the wreath. Take a square of fabric and place the middle of the fabric over the glue. I took an old bent up knitting needle that I cannot use (if you dont have one try a screwdriver) and push the fabric into the wreath with the point of the knitting needle or what ever took you decide to use. Fill the whole wreath up. You dont have to fill the back of it up.
Decorate with any oraments you desire.

Here are some halloween versions

I actually sold this one at the flea market thanks to Nancy Yeah me I sold a craft!

So uninspired
I put my yarn away for quite some time. I started watercolor painting and its got my attention.
I found a new book in the libary about crochet. Maybe it will inspire me to pick up the yarn again.
I know the kitty misses it.
The dog found it under my bed. I am not happy with the dog right now.

A big fat undo
The unraveling process did not take so well so I unraveled it to a nice brown ball of yarn. Now I have to find the pattern again and start all over.

AC Moore
AC Moore has 10 balls of yarn for 10 bucks and some of those yarns are 7.00 a piece. I am after the suede ones to make a blanket for somebody special.
IDEA
I was watching Harry Potter and they were at a quidiche (sp) match and they were all wearing scarves that were their house colors. Why dont I make those??????

Need some needles
Would you believe I have a zillion needles but only on #6. You can knit with one needle! I wonder where that other went. I want to knit dusting pads for those swiffer mops. One ball of yarn seems simple and something for ETSY to sell.
The instructions says #7 needles. I actually did a swatch for gauge and apparantly I knit looser then I should.
Well I gotta go to bed now. I am up way to late. I gotta get some gas too.
